Nykingie Chunsa Barnes was born January 19, 1993 in Atlanta, Georgia to Shenetha (Nee-Nee) Barnes and Antonio (Goldie) Cofer. She was the oldest girl of
six children, JaQuavius, Amare, Antonio, Jacob, and N'Turie-Shequa Barnes.
Nykingie attended Capitol View Elementary School, McNair Middle School, and received her GED from Atlanta Area Technical School.

She was a loving, kind, generous young lady who loved life and the people around her. She had a beautiful smile and truly a loving heart. She was a very outgoing person with a carefree spirit.
Nykingie leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Nevaeh Mekhi Barnes (age 3); great-grandmother, Rosa Smith; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; including best friends, Sabreen Smith, Melissa Nieves, Quinni Barlow, Louise Pinkard, and all of other Boo's.
