Mr. Edward E. Barge, Sr. (Red) was born June 28, 1934 to Jannie Wilson and the late Elman Barge.
On October 4, 1952 he was married to Betty Parker and God blessed this union with four children.
He was a member of Poplar Spring Methodist Church. He retired from OTASCO and at the time of his passing was employed with the Dekalb County School System.
He departed this life November 11, 1992 at a local hospital and leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Betty Barge; daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Randy J . (Pamela) Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. Terry James (Cynthia) Solomon, and Miss Petrina Barge; son, Mr. Edward E. Barge, Jr.; mother, Jannie Wilson; sister, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. (Sallie Mae) Riley; brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Adele Barge and Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Barge; six grandchildren; motherin-law, Mrs. Frances Hart; sisters-in-law, Mr. an d Mrs. Calvin (Eddie Lou) Farmer, Mr. and Mrs . Douglas (Cathy) Alexander, and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky (Joyce) Turner; brother-in-law, Mr. Leroy Hart; numero us aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
