Ms. Jessie Davidson Askew was born August 30, 1927 in West Point, Georgia to the late Willie and Catherine Davidson.
Jessie gave her life to Christ at an early age. She moved to A;nn Arbor, Michigan here she spent most of her adult life. She worke for the school system and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. In her spar time, she enjoyed fishing and making crafts. She also loved to knit and crochet. She made beautiful afghans and other items which she gave to amily and friends.
On Tuesday, Jun 3, 2014, God made a fmal call of patience, suffering and endurance that heli soul may rest in peace. He ooked out on the battl ield and saw a soldier who had labored hard and e called her home for her reward. She is prece d in death by her father and mother, three broth s and two sisters.
The legacy gf her season is left to be remembered by her loving famil and friends; four sisters Mrs. Mary Rogers, Mrs. Doris Fain, Ms. Catherine Patterson and Mrs. Mattie J. (Perry) Stephens; a number of loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Also, all of her long time friends at NAPFE Towers &Golden Living Rehabilitation.
