The Broken chain On the day of May 8, 2007 We little knew that morning God was going to call your name, In life, we loved you dearly; in death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories; your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Or family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Acknowledgements Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair; Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say; Perhaps you were not there at all, just prayed for us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts We thank you so much, whatever your part.
May God bless each of you. The Family
