OBITUARY
"Like a shif,) that has left its mooring and sails bravely to sea; so someone dear has sailed away in calm serenity. But there is promise of greater joy than earth could have in store. For God has planned a richer life beyond the unseen shore."
Douglas Charles Anderson was born in Monroe, Louisiana on June 28, 1966. He was the first born of Johnnie Mae Anderson. He moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the age of three. Aa:epting Christ at an early age, he united with the Spiritual of Israel Church in 1984. At age seventeen, Douglas graduated with honors from Milwaukee Technical High School with a degree in Business Education.
His family ties were strong. He departed this life on September 27, 1989 . He leaves to cherish his memory: His mother, Johnnie Mae Anderson Longley of Orlando, Florida; father, Jimmie Douglas Baker of LaCombe, LA; a God-mother and God-father, Isaac and Delores Sawyer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sons, Douglas Charles and Leonard DiAngelio Pharr-Anderson, all of Milwaukee. His fiance, Dalphine Plain of Chicago, Illinois; seven brothers, Anthony Dewayne Garrison, Thomas Green, Andre. Lee, Jerry Longley, all of Mi.lwaukee; Clarence H. Longley, Jr., of Chicago; Andre Ramon and Isaac Lavell Anderson, both of Orlando, Florida; two sisters, Sonya Michelle Baker of Corrinth, Mississippi, and Veronica Longley of Milwaukee.
Maternal Grandparents: Alberta and John Pugh Anderson. Paternal Grandparents, Clyde Baker, deceased and Veallia Wonzo Stephens of Bastrop, Louisiana. Sixteen neices and nephews. Many uncles and aunts, great aunts and uncles, cousins and many relatives and friends.
