Because you cared, you came to share, beautiful flowers and works of prayer.
Because you cared enough to do, words of comfort on cards came too. Because you cared, we are not alone,
call and visits reached our homes. Because you cared, we're praying too, for God's richest
Blessings for each of you.

Mrs. Trudy C. Allen-Parker entered into eternal peace on Monday, July 13, 2015. She was born on April 10, 1953 in
Cleveland, Ohio where she attended J.F. Kennedy High School
and continued her education at Robert Morris Business College, in Pittsburgh, PA and Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. She relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1985 and started her career with Georgia Institute of Technology. She retired in April of 2015 from the School of Mechanical Engineering after 30 years of serv1ce.
Trudy met the love of her life, Willie Charles Parker. They were married on February 24, 2012. She is also a devoted mother of two wonderful sons.
Trudy received Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a very early age. She was active in various ministries throughout the church working tirelessly with a spirit-filled passion for Christ and His people. She loved helping and rescuing people in need by providing temporary housing for many, composing and typing their resumes for employment and pointing them to Christ. She was a multi-talented woman of God that enjoyed writing poetry, public and motivational speaking, dancing, event planning (was a specialty for her). During her high school years, she played a leading role in plays, directed her own play and wrote two articles that were printed in a national magazine. Her deeds toward others were endless.
Trudy has been a cancer survivor for more than 20 years. In that timeframe, she set her heart toward sharing her journey and educating others about breast cancer. Because of her passion for her survivorship, she joined "Sisters By Choice, Inc" under the leadership of Dr. Rogsbert Phillips of Emory University. She organized and facilitated the Sisters By Choice Chapter at South Fulton Hospital for the past five plus years.
Trudy leaves to cherish her memory: A loving and devoted husband, \Villie Charles Parker; two sons, Gregory Allen (Mary Beth), Geoffrey Allen; two beautiful grand kids, Bethany and Michael Allen all of Pittsburgh, PA; two uncles, Michael Delk Goyce), and R. C. Crowe; one aunt, Patricia Dodd; three sistersin-law, Georgia \Vimbush, Col. Gwendolyn S. Roland and Joan Morris of Atlanta; a loving niece, Mia Mobley; two first cousins, of Atlanta, Marvin Lampkin (Deloris), and Rugena BranchBelcher ( rthur); and a host of devoted friends and extended family.
