06ituary
Mr. Mario Lenard Adams, Sr. was born December 30, 1968 to Mr. Willie Adams and the late Ms. Lorraine Butler.
Mario attended Grady High School. He lived in the Fourth Ward Community where he was raised by his grandparents, Mr. Arthur Carter and the late Mrs. Betty Ann Carter.
On December 15, 1995, Mario united in marriage to Mrs. Samantha Hammonds.
Mario kept a variety ofjobs and was very crafty with his hands. He was employed with Precision Concrete at the time of his departure.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife, Samantha Hammonds; daughters, Tierra, Melissa, Phylicia, and Alycia; sons, Marcus, Lance, Sr., Samuel, Mario, Jr. , and Kadarius; father, Willie (Rochelle) Adams; grandfather, Arthur Carter; grandsons, Quanard and Lance, Jr.; sisters, Fonda Adams, Zephia Butler, and Andrea Singleton; brother, Derrix Singleton; sistersin-law, Angela Hammonds and Veronica (Norris) Thompson ; and a host of other family and friends .
I'm Free Don't grieve fo r me, for now I 'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I 've found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life's been full, I savoured much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
