was born February 21, 1974 in Decatur, Georgia to Annette Adams Cooper and Barnett Adams. journey was completed on November 23, 2013.
He joined Saint Paul Baptist Church under Reverend Dr. Eddie C. Mosley, Jr.
Marcus was educated in the Henry County School System, and graduated from Stockbridge High School. Throughout his work career he was always friendly and well,liked. He loved the Lord and loved to encourage others spiritually. In his quiet time, he wrote poetry. Although Marcus had ongoing health issues, he never complained and took them in stride.
He leaves to cherish his memories loving and devoted parents: Annette A. Cooper and Barnett Adams; brothers: Ricky Dorsey and Barnett Adams, Jr.; sister, Maria Canty; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work or play; Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things too I will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me,
