The Thomasville History Center serves to share, collect, and preserve the historical data, stories, documents, and artifacts related to the individuals, families, schools, churches, businesses, and other institutions of Thomas County. The Society seeks to study and disseminate information related to Thomas County with the objective of fostering a keen interest in Thomas County history. The Society operates the Museum of History and the Lapham-Patterson House Museum to preserve, interpret, and share Thomas County history.
