Library serving the Agnes Scott College community. McCain Library is both a knowledge space and a gateway to resources and services. The library’s mission is to support and enrich the educational program of Agnes Scott College, contributing to graduating students capable of finding, evaluating, and synthesizing information.
The four Mercer libraries and four Regional Academic Center library collections offer a wide variety of print, non-print and electronic resources, including web-based library catalogs and remotely accessible full-text resources.
Since its founding, the Midway Museum has been supported by the descendants of the Midway Church members who have provided 18th- and 19th-century family heirlooms, documents, books, genealogical lineages, heirloom furnishings, paintings, and artifacts.
The mission of Morehouse College is to develop men with disciplined minds who will lead lives of leadership and service. A private historically black liberal arts college for men, Morehouse realizes this mission by emphasizing the intellectual and character development of its students. In addition, the College assumes special responsibility for teaching the history and culture of black people.
The Mountain Regional Library System maintains and operates four public libraries located in the Georgia counties of Fannin, Towns and Union. The libraries are in towns of Hiawassee, Young Harris, Blairsville and Blue Ridge. These four branches service a population of just over 58,000 people.
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia's mission is to collect and archive significant contemporary works by artists living and working in the state of Georgia. Our programs promote the visual arts by creating a forum for active interchange between artists and the surrounding community. Through avenues of advocacy, awareness, and accessibility, the museum also serves as a platform to launch local artists and their works into the global artistic conversation.
