Since 1995, the Delta Flight Museum has allowed visitors from around the world to explore aviation history, celebrate the story and people of Delta, and discover the future of flight. The Museum was recently renovated into a world-class attraction that offers engaging exhibits and interactive programming for aviation enthusiasts of all ages. Standing in the heart of Delta’s Atlanta headquarters, the 68,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art attraction makes a perfect outing for family, friends, school groups and more. The new space also can be rented for special events, including business meetings, conferences and weddings. With historic glamour and modern amenities, the Museum is a one-of-a-kind venue within a mile of the world’s busiest airport.

Strengths:
Delta has been collecting its history since the 1950s. As early employees retired, the airline realized it was losing important corporate memories. Harriette Speer Parker of Delta’s public relations department founded the Delta Archives. Since 1996, the Museum has professionally managed Delta’s archival records and the items gifted by donors to the Museum. Extensive holdings include records from airlines in Delta's Family Tree, photographs, flight schedules, airport and in-flight equipment, and flight attendant uniforms.
