Description
456 unpublished historic documents compiled into five books of records belonging to the Old Suwanee Baptist Church. The resources date from 1832-1949, and include the church's charter and constitution, conference minutes, member lists, articles of faith, rules of decorum, attendance rolls, and some photographs. The lists of male and female members in Book 3, and the church conference minutes in Books 1,2,4, and 5 provide vital genealogical information for the people who raised their families near the church from the mid-19th to the mid-20th centuries.
