Color photographic slides from the papers belonging to Father Vincent Brennan (1912-1993), a Marist educator who served Marist School continuously from 1942-1968, as a teacher, principal, and president. The slides document (now the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the first Roman Catholic basilica in Georgia (built originally as a church in 1897 and designed by architect Walter T. Downing) and school events such as commencement, football, promenades, and construction of the Brookhaven campus in the early 1960s. The slides also show Marist churches in Georgia: Sacred Heart (Atlanta); St. William (Saint Simons Island); and St. Francis Xavier (Brunswick).
