George Walton and Richard Howley letter

The collection consists of an autographed letter dated August 13, 1781, and signed by Georgia delegates George Walton, signer of the Declaration of Independence and Richard Howley, member of Congress reporting to an unidentified correspondent on American Revolutionary Forces' success in Georgia and the possibility of sending a printing press, "a new ... & efficacious weapon against the enemy," to aid in the fight against the British.
