Description
The collection consists of period views of locations around Athens and northeast Georgia, including structures no longer in existence as well as those still standing. Represented are university buildings, residential homes, and religious and business facilities. A considerable number of photographs of nature, particularly water and falls, are included as well as several photographs of individuals and groups, both white and African-American. A small number of photographs depict Tennessee and Washington D.C. locations.
