The collection consists of original source material including biographies of prominent Georgians, correspondence of individuals and families, court records from the Superior Court of Jackson County (Georgia), records relating to the Confederate States of America and the Civil War in Georgia, reports and lists of children attending impoverished schools in Clarke County (Georgia), and records relating to slavery in Georgia.
