- South Georgia State Normal College saw big changes in 1921. The college transitioned from South Georgia State Normal College to Georgia State Woman's College. During this time the college became a four-year college. The girls participated in the many activities that were on campus. The girls participated in physical activities in events such as Field Day. They attended guest lectures by Dr. Smart and other lecturers.
