- Sculpture by James "Buddy" Snipes.
Snipes' art-making grew out of his talent for handiwork. As a child, he made toys for himself and his siblings, and has continued to work with his hands his entire life. The sculptures that Snipes is known for creating are inspired by objects found around his home, such as roots, tree limbs, old horse shoes, and empty glass jars.
