Art in the foreground is a fabrication of Roy Lichtenstein's House III (1997) and a cast of Auguste Rodin's The Shade (circa 1880).

Three new buildings, including the Anne Cox Chambers Wing (left) and Wieland Pavilion (back right), were added to the High Museum's main building (front right) in 2005. The two additions to the contemporary white structure were designed by acclaimed architect Renzo Piano, and the original building was designed by Richard Meier. The Anne Cox Chambers Wing in clad in tall, narrow panels, suggesting the appearance of a picket fence. The two wings on the left are paneled in large porcelain-enameled steel squares.
