Photograph of a face jug by Cheever Meaders. It is a brown jug with a narrow opening at the top. Slanted oval eyes are topped with curved eyebrows. A downturned mouth contains a few small teeth. In 1920 Cheever Meaders inherited the family pottery at Mossy Creek, Georgia.
