- Abit Massey discusses his experiences as director of the Georgia Department of Commerce in an interview conducted on September 19, 2011. Massey held this position under Governor Ernest Vandiver from 1959 to 1963, and he was instrumental in the construction of Georgia's welcome centers and the development of the state’s Tourist Division.
