Significance: The south face of the dam was documented after breaching in 2013. The construction of the dam revealed by breaching is typical of stone gravity dams. Large irregular stones were stacked in a horizontal orientation with smaller stones packed into interstices. The whole assembly was heavily grouted to prevent leaks.
