Significance: The Old Jail is a contributing historic resource in the existing Braselton National Register of Historic Places District and represents the law enforcement significance of the district. Located at the center of town throughout the historic period, this building served as the jail for Braselton during the historic period. The Old Jail is also architecturally significant as an extant example of an early twentieth century two-cell jail in northeast Georgia.
