Significance: The Braselton Rolling Mill is a contributing historic resource in the Braselton National Register of Historic Places District and represents the agricultural and industrial significance of the district. Located at the center of commercial and industrial activity throughout the historic period, the mill served as the primary processing location for agricultural products for portions of three counties, including western Jackson, northwestern Barrow, and southeastern Hall counties. The Rolling Mill is also architecturally significant as an extant example of an early twentieth century rolling mill in northeast Georgia. Character-defining features of the building include its two-and-a-half-story height, front-gable metal roof, weatherboard exterior siding, and one- and two-bay side additions.
