Significance: Built in 1939-1940, as part of the DeSoto Homes public housing project in Rome, Georgia, the Administration Building is significant for having served as the offices for the Housing Authority of the City of Rome from the early 1940s through the late 1960s. It has also functioned as a community center and meeting space for residents of DeSoto Homes.
