Significance: GDOT Bridge #035/00230/X/00230X is representative of the Pratt pony truss bridge. It is one of ten Pratt pony truss bridges recorded in the State. It is the only such bridge in Butts County. Based on the context of the Georgia Historic Bridge Survey, this structure fits into the era of "historic" bridge building in Georgia.
