- Description on Verso: "Engineering stakes are already up for a proposed road which would destroy a 2 gun fortification on a Confederate trench line known as Johnston's Circle. Civil War River line. The some 6 miles of trench and fortifications runs through south Cobb County. The land has been bought by a developer and rezoned for development. Phil Secrest looks over the proposed roadway. He is Vice Chairman of Cobb County Historic Preservation Commission. His group is in negotiation with the developer to save as much of the historic line as possible."
