- Description:
- Description on verso: "Road foes appeal to Young: Mayor Andrew Young (front left) listens to a litany of objections to the Presidential Parkway project Wednesday at City Hall. More than 20 road opponents, ranging from a clergyman to members of the Little Five Points Business Association, met with Young and asked him to urge Department of Transportation Commissioner Tom Moreland, as well as former President Jimmy Carter, to stop the road. Young was not swayed by their objections. 'I don't think it should be stopped,' he said.
