Used 1969-01-26" Caption: "In Huntsville, Ala., officials from DCASR-Atlanta (Defense Contract Administration Services Region in Atlanta) gather inside one of the huge instrument units that guide the Saturn rockets into space. These 'rocket brains' are assembled in Huntsville by IBM. On the far-left wall is a slogan by Dr. Wernher Von Braun that reads: 'As the IU (instrument unit) goes, so goes the Saturn.' IBM's $253 million contract for assembling the 22-foot instrument rings is the largest space contract in the Southeast. It's part of more than $2 billion worth of space and defense contracts handled by the Defense Contract Administration Region in Atlanta. Story on Pages 8 and 9. Photography by Kenneth Rogers."
