- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer Dwight Ross, Jr.: "A group calling themselves ACT UP for Aids Coalition to Unleash Power, staged a march to the Center for Disease Control at 11:40 a.m. Monday morning and continued a demonstration and protest in front of the Clifton Road establishment. The protest eventually resulted in what seemed like about a dozen arrests. This same caption can go for two of the prints which show members of the DeKalb County Police making arrests in front of the CDC building. The arrested protesters were taken to the fire station across the street." Newspaper caption: "A member of ACT UP is taken into custody Monday at the Centers for Disease Control. ACT UP wants the CDC to expand its 'case definition' of AIDS to include several women's gynecological diseases." Date-stamped "Tue Dec 4 1990 J C."
