- Description:
- This recording opens with an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The entire program is a feature about the Missing and Murdered Children saga and the subsequent capture, trial and conviction of Wayne Williams. The program features audio excerpts from local Atlanta news programs before the killer was caught, and voice excerpts from Public Safety Commissioner Lee Brown, and from Williams himself. Much of the program focuses on questions about Williams' guilt in committing the murders. Included are audio excerpts from Dr. Larry Howard of the Georgia State Crime Lab; former prosecutor Gordon Miller; Emory University law professor Abraham Ordover; Jeff Prugh of the Los Angeles Times, and Annie Rogers, mother of murder victim Patrick Rogers. The program ends with a sign off by Boyd Lewis.
