- This recording opens with an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The first segment, which begins at 1:43, is a tribute to singer and songwriter Johnny Mercer. The program features audio excerpts from singers Margaret Whiting, Marlene Verplank, and Julius LaRosa. Also featured are Lester Huff and Chris Paton, archivists at Georgia State University where Johnny Mercer's collection of music and papers are preserved.
