- This recording opens with an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The first segment, which begins at 1:12, is a feature about Sweet Honey in the Rock, an African American acapella singing group founded by Bernice Johnson Reagon. She was a founding member of the Freedom Singers who performed to raise money for civil rights organizations.
