- This recording opens with singer Bessie Jones' rendition of "Preachin the Blues" and an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The first segment, which begins at 1:22, is a feature about difficulties facing small farmers. The program features audio interview excerpts from Emergency Land Fund director Joseph Brooks and other unidentified individuals.
