The program features audio excerpts from Jim Summers of the Fernbank Science Center, and unidentified Atlantans viewing the eclipse as it happens near Georgia Tech and in Piedmont Park. The second segment, which begins at 19:18, is a rebroadcast of a "Southwind" program that aired in August 1983 about about Montreat, North Carolina, a small vacation town whose residents are experiencing change as the area grows and develops.
