Levi Cohen (1834-1909) was a Jewish tinsmith who came to America from Germany in 1850 and moved to Atlanta in 1862. He was a founding member of the Hebrew Benevolent Congregation in 1867 and married to Sara Solomons, originally from Savannah, who was the first president of the Religious School Board. His granddaughter, Lucille, was married to Leo Frank. - Local Identifier:
