- The photographs in this collection relate to Atlanta author Medora Field Perkerson. Other photographs show Medora Field Perkerson seated with her mother reading "Who Killed Aunt Maggie?" in 1939; a photograph of her arrival at the 1940 premiere of the movie "Who Killed Aunt Maggie?" with her husband Angus Perkerson, and a photograph seated at her desk after revealing her identity as "Marie Rose" in 1947. Other images include Senator Richard B. Russell reading White Columns in Georgia in 1952 and the state historical marker at Lindale, Georgia in 1961 honoring Medora Field Perkerson in 1961.
Medora Field Perkerson (1892-1960) was an author and longtime writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Magazine. She was married to Angus Perkerson. - Metadata URL:
