motion The Florida Crusade, the Peter Marshall Fund
and other matters pertaining to alumni and seminary ac-
tion will be given by Dr. Richards and alumn. officers.
An added matter of interest will be the election of new

officers for the Alumni Association.

The annual Alumni Dinner at the Seminary Refectory
will be served with members of the Alumni body as
guests. Efforts will be made to provide opportunity for
fellowship and the renewing of old friendships as much
as possible during the day.

Graduates will be interested in calling on the various
seminary professors who are this year being provided
with new office arrangements on the second floor of
Campbell Hall. The seminary administration and faculty
are anxious for as many alumni as possible to visit the
campus for this occasion.

CAMPAIGNS IN ALL SUPPORTING
SYNODS

The Florida Crusade, a capital gifts campaign for
funds for Columbia Seminary and Florida Student
Work, will be completed by the end of 1957. Results so
far in this campaign are most encouraging. Plans for a
new dormitory at Columbia Seminary to be named
Florida Hall are cited by the Florida Crusade Executive
Committee, provided that a total goal of $700,000 is
realized by the end of this campaign. Reports now indi-
cate that we may expect gifts from churches and individ-
uals amounting to at least $576,000. In some cases final
pledges have not been received and it is essential that
all verbal commitments be placed in writing before the
campaign can be closed. Three-fifths of the total raised
in this campaign has been designated for Columbia
Theological Seminary and the remaining two-fifths will
go to the Student Work of the Synod of Florida.

The Peter Marshall Memorial Fund is as yet incom-
plete. $200,000 must be raised in order to claim the
challenge offer of $50,000 made by friends in Atlanta.
Approximately $50,000 remains to be raised by the end
of the year. It is urgent that the fund be complete for
the inauguration of the new chair of Homiletics with
its first professor early in 1958.

A campaign for funds for Columbia Seminary in the
Synods of Georgia and South Carolina has been ap-
proved for the year 1959. Organization for this campaign
will start during the latter part of 1958 with the solici-
tation phase of the campaign to begin and to end dur-
ing the year 1959. It is well for the friends of Columbia
Seminary in these synods to keep these plans in mind
and to enlist the prayers of our people as one of the
preparatory phases of this effort.

A further campaign for funds for Columbia Seminary
in the Synods of Alabama and Mississippi has been ap-
proved bv these synods for the year 1960. Organizational
work for this campaign will start during the latter part
of the year 1959 with plans to begin and to complete
the solicitation phase of the campaign in 1960. It is the
concern of the directors and administration of Columbia
Seminary that policy and procedures be established for
the conduct of these campaigns to provide spiritual as
well as financial assets for Columbia Seminary and her
constituency. This can be done only by prayerful con-
cern on the part of every Presbyterian in each of these
svnods.
