- The Sam Nunn Policy Forum, begun in 1997, is an annual policy meeting that brings together noted academic, government, and private sector experts on international affairs, public policy, and technology to address issues of immediate and future importance to the nation. Developed from former United States Senator from Georgia Sam Nunn's concept of educating citizens about the important issues facing them, the Forum is co-sponsored and alternately hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Georgia, and Emory University. The Forum is designed to foster informed discussion of critical issues confronting the United States as it enters the 21st century and is open to scholars, practitioners, students, and the public. Contents include articles, speeches and streaming video of presentations made during the meeting.
