O Ofd

If we can put a man
on the moon,

You can see your way

through
To where you want to be.

There is a way.

There is always a way.

- Douglas Pagels

Another year has passed. It is hard to believe that another school year is almost behind us and our first
senior class will graduate. What a milestone! While | am proud of what we have accomplished, | remain
convinced it is not enough. Not a day passes that | dont recognize where we need to be; what we
need to do to get there; the path we must take. | see the potential of the students here and know that
there are others out there who need us; who need what we have to offer. | truly believe that the
potential for success resides in each of us. The question often remains, what will we do to bring it life?
Many quit along the way because of difficulties, failures or poor choices. The spirit of Hutchings requires
that we never quit; never give up in spite of failure and that we make positive choices for ourselves and
others. For me, there is always a way.

In the beginning after 27 hours of labor out comes a little
baby boy that we decided to call Wesley Kyle. He was a very
long, fair skinned baby with straight black hair. He grew up
with a very curious nature. He always wanted to know how
something worked. He was always very good at public
speaking never afraid.

Now that he has reached high schoo! graduation, the
opportunities that await him are unknown and endless. He has
always taken his time before he made a decision. | am
confident that this will continue to be his way of living.

I am very proud of you, son. Always keep your head up and
your eyes toward the sky!
