Being able to express oneself by word or song is what Literary Day is all
about. Students are invited to share their talents in this special event, then
they can put their skills to the test in region and state competitions. This year

W IVEPS

RED ALERT! Its the senior class of
1998! This year, the leaders of the school
really displayed their abilities through
various clubs, positions of leadership,
programs and competitions. The SENIORS
participated in two different retreats: one in
the fall to get to know each other and one
in the spring to say good-bye. Best of
all, the seniors learned to grow together
and with a little help from their friends

they created a memorable last year at

Mount de Sales. They take from MdS the

knowledge and strength of character that

will help them fulfill their dreams.

MdS is the diversity of its people. And
even though we are so different in many

Now that the seniors last high school
year is over...where do they go from here?
EVERYWHERE! This is an exciting time
for the students. It is also a time for parents

to EXPRESS their joy and pride, their

sadness and relief, and their satisfaction and

love. Parents sometimes do this by

dedicating a printed tribute to their

graduate. It can relay their best Wishes

and sometimes even remind their child of
the important things in life. And so along
with the proud parents of our class of 1998,
we would like to wish each senior much

success and happiness.

Around the beginning of April
(and sooner for some people) you can
almost smell summer vacation. No more
early mornings; no more dress code: no
more homework...its just about TIME to
take a good long break. For most students,
summer marks a few months of tempo-
rary separation but for the seniors, its the
beginning of the next phase of their life.
Although everyone is going their separate
ways, the iC1G@ of finally moving on is

most exciting. Most seniors realized many

of their dreams through the close

friendships they estcblished during the year.
