LOVING MEMORIES OE BRO. WILLIE JAMES COLLINS
WILLIE JAMES COLLINS was bom February 26, 1952 to the late Deacon Eddie Collins and Saint Robbie Mae
Collins of Claxton, Georgia.
Willie James was a lifelong member of the United House of Prayer For All People. As a child, he was very energetic
and had many friends. Willie James loved his family dearly.
As an adult, Willie James continued to be very kindhearted and charismatic. He was very outgoing as well as
outspoken...his persona seemed at times, "larger than life". He was sharp-witted, intelligent and knowledgeable.
Willie James' character and personality allowed him to adapt to any social environment.
On April 12, 2009, EASTER RESURRECTION SUNDAY, God called Willie James home to rest.
To cherish his memory, Willie James leaves two daughters, LaConda D. Collins-Lawrence of Fort Eustis, Virginia
and Chandra D. Robinson of Atlanta, Georgia, and seven grandchildren, Thomas J. Collins, Dynesha Collins, Nadia
Lawrence, Ashia Lawrence, Jayden Miller-Lawrence, Cameron Robinson and Casey Robinson. He also leaves to
mourn his sister, Robbie Annette Brown of Claxton, Georgia, his brother, Jimmy Collins of Portsmouth, Virginia
and Vicki Sgagias, a special and dear friend. Mr. Collins leaves 11 nieces and nephews Roslyn Lowe of Decatur,
Georgia, Katha Collins of Rahway, New Jersey, Gregory Collins of Clinton, Maryland, Linnex Hines of
Montgomery, Alabama, Nicole Brown of Alpharetta, Georgia, Jimmy Collins, Jr. of Orlando, Florida, Sheronda
Collins of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Eddie Lamont Collins of Rahway, New Jersey, Travis Collins of Portsmouth,
Virginia, Marcus Collins of Orlando, Florida and Stephanie Collins of Portsmouth, Virginia. He also leaves a host
of grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts, cousins and friends and a special cousin, Mae Helen Sherwood of Charlotte,
North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his two brothers, Eddie B. Collins and Thomas
Collins.
