Proverbs 31:10, 20 &25-31
10. A capable wife who can find? Her value is far more than that
of corals.
20. Her palm she has stretched out to the afflicted one, and her
hands she has thrust out to the poor one.
25. Strength and splendor are her clothing, and she laughs at a
future day.
26. Her mouth she has opened in wisdom, and the law of lov-
ing kindness is upon her tongue.
27. She is watching over the goings-on of her household, and
the bread of laziness she does not eat.
28. Her sons have risen up and proceeded to pronounce her
happy; her owner rises up, and he praises her.
29. There are many daughters that have shown capableness, but
you you have ascended above them all.
30. Charm may be false, and prettiness may be vain; but the
woman that fears Jehovah is the one that procures praise for
herself
31. Give her of the fruitage of her hands and let her works praise
her even in the gate's.

Obituary
On August 20, 1915, the late Willis and Mary Lee Moody
were blessed with the birth of their oldest daughter, Willie
Mae, in Evans County, Georgia. Now after a very long and
satisfying life, sadly she has left us to cherish her very dear
sweet memory on February 9, 2007.
She was educated in the elementary school in Evans County,
Georgia, but attended high school in Gainsville, Florida.
At a young age, Willie Mae joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist
Church. She served faithfully until her health failed. Serving
as a missionary for several years, she always did her best to
help whenever and wherever there was a need, whether asked
to or not.
In July 1934, Willie Mae Moody was wed to John Lester
Brown, Sr. forming a great union of which 10 children were
born. She was widowed in 1983, and was remarried in 1990.
She has been predeceased by 2 sons, Lucuis (1992) and Ivy
(2007) Brown.
Cherishing her loving memory are the following: husband
Leroy Hagan; daughters: June Helen Clark (Hubert),
Freddie Mae Lewis (Lester), Leila Brooks (James), and Mary
L. Mackey; sons: Norman (Betty), Earnest (Annette),
Alphonse (Bernice) and John Lester Brown, Jr. (Rogenger);
her sons widows: Ann & Florence Brown; 7 stepchildren:
Ida Pearl Hall, Maybell Forrest, Gail Grant, Rosetta
Nunnally, Ilene King, Early Hagan, and Grady Hagan; a sis-
ter: Maggie A. Harper; sisters-in law: Sallie B. Moody and
Marietha Brown, Leola Short, Ida Mae Hagan, Cleo Fluella,
Ethel Hicks, and Mary Surrency; 3 brothers-in-law: Felton
Hagan, Gurney Hagan, and Waldo Brown; 38 grandchil-
dren; 67 great grandchildren and a host of great great grand-
children and other relatives and friends.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 states in part, All that your
hands find to do, do it with your very power,
and oh, was she well known fior
her hard work even firom an
early age as a homemaker,
cook in a restaurant, fiarm
fiteld worker and also U.S.
Postal employee. Although
she wore many hats
fiiguratively, none were
more appreciated, precious
or endearing than loving
wifie, mother, daughter,
sister, grandmother, and
great grandmother. She
