Profile Of Life
In the still of a warm sunny morning and the warm comfort of Savannah Hospice, God reached down
and whispered Robert, its time. This last most naturally weighs heavily on our hearts because of the
human ties which are now broken. However, when we focus on his life, we are extremely pleased with
Gods selection of this family.
A Time To Be Born
Robert Jenkins Jr. was born on February 15, 1956 in Claxton, Georgia to the late Robert Jenkins Sr.
and Jessie Mae Warren Jenkins. Robert Jenkins Sr. preceded him in death.
A Time To Grow And Be Educated
Robert grew up in Claxton and Daisy Georgia. During that time he shared his love and happiness with
all that knew him. He attended Claxton High School and was a part of the first black family to integrate
the public school system in Evans County. He was a member of the football and basketball team.
A Time To Worship
As a young child Robert was baptized and became a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church under the
leadership of Rev. Solomon. In his younger days he was a member of the choir.
A Time Of Affection
On December 29, 1979 Robert Jenkins was joined in Holy Matrimony to Debra Green Jenkins.

Our Appreciation
We were sad with eyes of tears, and heavy hearts of grief
But you were there with open arms, which was a welcome relief
The touch of your hands was such a comfort
Your calls and gifts as well
Even the flowers and delicacies were special we could tell
Your kindness and thoughts delivered us as we toiled to strive in sorrow
Thus, realizing its friends like you who help us foresee tomorrow
May God Bless Each Of You Is Our Prayer

To My Son
Bubba, my love for you has no definition
Words from Webster nor the Encyclopedia
Can Explain the way I feel.
Bubba I am going to miss you
Son I find peace in knowing that your
Suffering is over and God has his arms around you.
Son I love you and Ill meet you there
Love, Mother
To Our Brother
Bubba, since we were all children, we have been through thick and thin
Until this day we cannot believe your life came to an end.
Throughout the future we will miss you - we will keep you in our hearts
That is what we will do
Even though you are not here - you will always be our brother
We love you so much because there is no other
Love you Bubba
Betty, Christine, Carolinda, Warnell, Amy
The angel gathered near your bed
So very close to you
For they knew the pain and suffering
That you were going through.
But your eyes were looking homeward
To that place beyond the sky.
Where Jesus held his outstretched arms
It was time to say Good-bye.
I struggled with my selfish thoughts
For I wanted you to stay
So we could talk again
Like we did - just the other day.
God looked around His garden, and He found an empty space. He
then looked down upon Earth and saw your tired face. He put
His arms around you and lifted you to rest. Gods garden must be
beautiful. He always takes the best.
He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never
get well here on Earth again. He saw the road was getting rough
and the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered Peace be thine.
It broke our hearts to loose you, but you did not go alone, for
part of us went with you the day God called you home.
Love you Daddy
Kendria
Love you Papa
LaKedria, Devin, Devon, Adrienne
But Jesus knew the answer
And I knew He loved you so
So I gave to you lifes greatest gift
The gift of letting go.
Love you Daddy,
Yolonda
