OBITUARY
James Timmons was born November 14, 1952
in Evans County, Claxton, Ga. He was the son
of Mrs. Mae Helen Timmons. Airman Appren-
tice James Timmons, United States Navy depart-
ed this hfe July 18, 1972, on Board USS Lexing-
ton, while serving his country.
He was a member of the St. John Baptist
Missionary Church where he had formerly serv-
ed as Superintendent of the Junior Department.
He was a 1970 graduate of the Evans County
High School, Claxton, Ga.
He leaves to mourn, a mother, Mrs. Mae
Helen Timmons; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Og-
lesby, Savannah, Mrs. Sandra Stokes, Savannah,
Clealice Timmons, Geneva Mikel, Tammy Mikel;
two brothers, Ricky and Charles Anthony Mikel;
great grandmother, Mrs. Mabell Freeman; sev-
eral grandmothers and a grandfather and a host
of aunts and cousins, and a host of other rela-
tives and friends.
Lifes race is run

And now he rests.
