SEPTEMBER 20-22,2006
PROGRAM GUIDE SPONSORED BY
L
Welcome to Savannah for the ninth annual Georgia Summit Conference of the University System enterprise application users!
Over 750 of us participate in Georgia Summit annually to share our expertise about the USG's enterpnse administrative applications and their integration. This year, we're concentrating on how Banner Student and Flnancial Aid Systems. PeopleSoft Financials and Human Resources Management Systems. and the USG Data Warehouse work together to support and connect instruction, research. and service.
Georgia Summit 2006 offers an exciting opportunity for us lo learn from each other, discuss common problems and experiences, and share innovative solutions in integrating our instructional and administrative enterprise applications. Concurrent sessions, demonstrations, discussions, exhibits, and networking opportunitfes promote Interaction with colleagues that help us address the challenges of connecting Instruction. research, and service through technology.
I'm especially excited about this year's keynote speaker. Dr. Bill Lindsley, a strategic planner and master story teller who will engage, instruct. and entertain us as he explains "Dancing on the Deck of the Titanic: Lessons In the Art of Strategic Listening." I expect Bill's address to set the tone for a full schedule of conference activities.
The success of this conference relies on your commitment to professional development. Thank you to each of you for sharing your time and energies as presenters and participants. We're grateful to our generous sponsors for making presentations and demonstrations, showing us new ideas in exhibits, helping offset conference costs, and providing materials for our use. Sponsor contributions are essential to the ongoing success of Georgia Summit, and we appreciate the positive outcomes that result from their ongoing support.
Sincerely,
77...;.~
