The last annual report of this office for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1928, showed a balance in the Treasury of $ 1,147,489.96

Since that date I have received and certified to the Comptroller-

General, as shown by Table 1 of this report, the sum of

29,747,198.40

Making a total chargeable to the Treasurer in this office and the office of the Comptroller-General
The disbursements for the same period from January 1, 1929, were

BONDED DEBT. The bonded debt of this State, as set forth in Exhibit No. 3, shows the outstanding indebtedness on December 31, 1929, to be $4,780,202.00.

TREASURER'S REPORT.

The thirteenth instalment of bonds amounting to $100,000.00, issued under Act of 1889, due January 1, 1929, were paid.

FUEL OIL TAX TO COUNTIES.

During the year this office disbursed quarterly to the counties, as provided by Acts of the General Assembly, 1923, 1925, 1927 and 1929, their prorata of the Fuel Oil Tax Funds. The distributions were based upon the amounts received and credited to the counties from the fuel oil distributors to the date of payment into the Treasury, less cost of collection, as provided by law, and upon the State Aid System Mileage in each County to the entire system, which is furnished this office quarterly by the State Highway Department. Delinquent payments are accounted for and disbursed at each next quarterly distribution.

The Fuel Oil Tax Funds set aside to counties, collected and paid into the Treasury during the year 1929 aggregated $2,201,016.89. Payments brought forward from 1928 amounted to $369,864.68.

This office disbursed from the above amounts $2,180,099.34 and carried forward to 1930 'a balance of $390,782.23, which will be added to the amount collected for counties in January, 1930, to be disbursed at that time.

EXHIBIT NO. 11.
FEDERAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION FUNDS.
Under an Act of the Legislature approved August 21, 1917, accepting the provisions of an Act of Congress to provide for the promotion of Vocational Education in this State, the State Treasurer is made Custodian of all monies from the National Government for that purpose.
This Act provides that the Custodian shall pay out said money on warrants signed by the Chairman and countersigned by the Secretary of the State Board of Vocational Education created by said Act.
Under the terms and provisions of the Act referred to I have received and disbursed this money in accordance with the Act, as set forth in the following condensed statement of that account:

FEDERAL INDUSTRIAL REHABILITATION FUNDS.
Under an Act of the Legislature approved August 16, 1920, accepting the provisions of an Act of Congress "to provide for the promotion of Vocational Rehabilitation of persons disabled in industry or otherwise and their return to civil employments, the State Treasurer is made Custodian of all monies received from the National Government for that purpose".
The Act authorizes the Custodian to receive and disburse these funds upon requisition of the State Board of Vocational Education. All warrants drawn against these funds are signed by the Chairman and countersigned by the Secretary of said Board.
Under the terms and provisions of the Act above referred to I have received and disbursed this money in accordance with the Act, as set forth in the following condensed statement of that account:
