Hill Lake near Augusta, this park is known as one of the finest bass fi shing spots in the nat ion. During the summe r, guests can cool down at the beach or on miles of shaded nature trails. canoes and fishing boats are available for rent, and a wildlife observation area is provided. The park has 10 fully equipped cottages with lake views, five of which are log cabins as p ictured above. The campground is situate d on a peninsula, offer ing spectacular views of both sunset and sunrise over the o pe n water. A fourbed camper cabin with e lectricity and water faces the lake. The park's pioneer camping area features a ne w Ad irondak shelte r, te nt pads and fire ring.
