Four of the fastest growing occupations are in the health services industry and two are related to computers.
On a statewide level, three have been given the "HOT" label for this period.
Seven of these occupations do not require any formal education beyond high school.

Total employment in WIA Area #12 is expected to grow from almost 116,000 jobs in 2006 to 117,000 by the year 2016, which equates to more than 110 new jobs added each year. The area is the home of the Medical College of Georgia, Fort Gordon Military Base, and the annual Master's Golf Tournament. Key industries are educational services, health services, federal government employment, and chemical manufacturing.
