BY THE GOVERNOR:

WHEREAS: The motion picture industry 1S an important industry 1n the State of Georgia; and

WHEREAS: The Georgia Department of Industry and Trade 1S charged with actively promoting the State of Georgia as a location for the motion picture industry; and

WHEREAS:

The Georgia Film and Videotape Office of the Georgia Department of Industry and Trade is charged with the development of the motion picture industry in Georgia; and

WHEREAS: Vigorous efforts must continue to be undertaken to promote the development of the motion picture industry in Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, BY VIRTUE OF THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY

ORDERED: That the Georgia Film and Videotape Advisory Board shall be established.

That the members of the Georgia Board of ,Industry and Trade, the Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Industry and Trade and the Director of the Georgia Film and Videotape Office be members of this Advisory Board.

ORDERED: That Jack T. Peay shall serve as Chairman of the

Advisory Board and Vivian W. Jones shall serve as Vice

Chairman of the Advisory Board and that the Advisory

Board shall meet on the call of the Director of the

Georgia Film and Videotape Office.

IT IS FURTHER

ORDERED:

That the Advisory Board will advise and assist the Department of Industry and Trade in pomoting Georgia as a location for the filming of motion pictures, television films and commercials.
